You get drunk off the lies you get told, and you drive til the end of the road, where if you luck out you might only lose your self-respect. Every day’s a new day, start again. Strip away the old you, shed the skin faster than your patience wearing thin, until you are a brand new skeleton. But it’s hard to believe in anything when deep inside you know the best day of your life will be the end.
I’m on an ivory tower, I’m not afraid to die. I’m in my final hour, I’ve said my last goodbye. In all the time before this, the only thing that had kept me alive was denying my “Father’s” promise that there’s more to live than life. It's too late to start again over again. Has all the time before this been nothing but a lie? God in Heaven forbid there’s nothing left when you die.
